$67,000-plus raised to drive hope for local kids

All kids in Hastings, Prince Edward and Northumberland Counties are winners thanks to the generosity of sponsors, donors, golfers and volunteers.

The Children’s Foundation announced that the annual “Play Around for the Kids Golf Tournament”, presented by Team Guernsey Real Estate, raised over $67,000 in support of the Foundation’s Playing for Keeps program Thursday at Black Bear Ridge Golf Course.

The program provides children with opportunities that foster growth, development, and connection — from recreational activities to educational experiences.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward creating safe, inclusive spaces where kids can build confidence, make friends, and thrive.
