Vehicle strikes house near Deseronto

The investigation is continuing after a vehicle struck a house on Wednesday morning just west of Deseronto.

An SUV struck a parked vehicle and a house onĀ Old Highway 2 near Clarence Road around 8 am.

Officials say the house suffered significant damage.

Fortunately, Hastings Quinte Paramedics checked out everyone at the scene and there were no major injuries.

More information is expected either Wednesday or Thursday from the OPP.
