Buy a coffee to support local Alzheimer’s Society

By Hailey MacDonald Sep 18, 2025 | 6:40 AM

A coffee purchased will go to a good cause today.

As part of McDonald’s Coffee Day for Alzheimer’s, 50 cents from every M, L and XL hot coffee purchased from the McDonald’s in Belleville, Picton, Quinte West, and Madoc will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society of Hastings-Prince Edward.

Additional donations will be collected by staff and volunteers in the drive-thru from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The aim for the ASHPE is to raise $10,000 to go toward programs and services in the community.

More on the Alzheimer’s Society of Hastings-Prince Edward is on its Facebook page.
