Draft West Belleville Secondary Plan available for feedback

By Hailey MacDonald Sep 22, 2025 | 11:13 AM

A public consultation centre is on the way for those wanting to offer feedback on the draft West Belleville Secondary Plan.

It will be held Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Loyalist College Link Lounge.

The West Belleville Secondary Plan area encompasses approximately 950 hectares of land located east of Wallbridge Loyalist Road, south of Highway 401 and north of the Bay of Quinte.

City officials say the plan will guide substantial future growth and development in this area, including over 6,000 new residential units, enhanced public infrastructure and a balanced mix of commercial, employment, institutional, and recreational spaces.

There will be no formal presentations, so those interested can attend at their convenience.

Project staff will be on hand to provide information and answer any questions. To learn more, visit the West Belleville Secondary Plan project page.
