The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) has recovered a stolen dirt bike and laid charges following an investigation in Prince Edward County.
On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, CSCU began investigating a stolen dirt bike after it was discovered being advertised for sale online. The dirt bike had been reported stolen in April 2024.
A warrant was executed at a property in Prince Edward County, where investigators located and recovered the stolen dirt bike.
As a result of the investigation, Matthew VAUGHAN, 29 years old, of Prince Edward County, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on Wednesday, December 9, 2026.
