Belleville Police charged a Prince Edward County man with impaired driving following an incident on Wednesday.
Around 4:35 p.m., Belleville Police received a report of a suspected road rage incident where the complainant reported that another driver struck their vehicle and then fled the area.
Officers located a suspect vehicle driving erratically and conducted a traffic stop.
As a result of the investigation, Thomas Vance, a 54-year-old Prince Edward County man, was arrested and charged with:
· Operation while impaired – alcohol
· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80 mg.
He was released on an Undertaking with a court date in November.
