One person is dead following a fatal crash that closed Highway 7 northeast of Kaladar for hours on Monday.
The Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a two-vehicle fatal collision that occurred in the Township of Central Frontenac.
On Monday, September 28, 2026, just after 2:45 p.m., emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 7 near Arden Road.
The driver of one vehicle, a 29-year-old female from Innisfil was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Highway 7 was closed for several hours between Mountain Grove Road and County Road 41 in Kaladar, only reopening last night around 9:30.
Members of Frontenac OPP are continuing the investigation with support from the OPP East Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team.
