A new ‘Legacy’ being carved out in Belleville

A new opportunity has arisen in the far east end of Belleville.
Legacy Events, run by Jen French, is aiming to address a growing demand for more versatile event space in the city on Old Highway 2.
French, who also runs the Dugout Grill, recognized the need for a larger space and set out to bring her team’s skills to larger events such as weddings and large corporate events.
Tucked back in the woods, the venue is designed to fit a wide range of group sizes. Its large main event space can be divided into two separate private rooms, which are soundproof and offer optional separate access.
Legacy Events also features a large reception space, a conference room, bridal suite and a beautiful outdoor patio that can host wedding ceremonies, served meals, or intimate performances by local artists.
Legacy Events is open by appointment and booking only. Community members can follow Legacy Events on Facebook and Instagram for updates on future events.
An Open House will be held for community members to take an inside peek at the new facility on 4211 Old Highway 2 this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
