An incident involving damage to a parked vehicle at an east end Belleville residence resulted in charges for a local woman.
Wednesday around 11 p.m., Belleville Police received a report about a female who was smashing the mirrors and windows of a van parked at the residence.
When officers arrived, they reportedly found the female sitting inside the vehicle still with the rocks that were used to damage the van.
The woman was brought out of the vehicle and arrested.
Further investigation revealed the female was currently bound by two probation orders and a Release Order all of which she was breaching at the time of the incident.
A 26-year-old female from Belleville was charged with:
· Mischief under $5000
· Failure to comply with a release order
· Failing to comply with a Probation Order X2
She was held in custody pending a bail hearing
