Dig out your best running shoes and hit the pavement to continue a beloved Canadian’s journey.
The Terry Fox Run returns in Belleville and across the nation this Sunday to raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Registration begins shortly at 9:30 a.m., with the run starting at 10:00 a.m.
Residents and cancer survivors are encouraged to come walk, run, or volunteer as the community comes together to support cancer research and continue Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope.
As of early Thursday afternoon, the Belleville fundraising team has reached half of its $57,800 fundraising goal, raising almost $29,000.
