Old Highway 2 closed after fatal crash by CFb Trenton

One person is dead following a fatal crash near CFB Trenton.

Shortly after 6 pm, there was a collision between a dump truck and a motorcycle on Old Highway 2 near one of the sets of lights.

The driver of the motorcycle died in the crash. The driver of the truck was not physically injured.

Old Highway 2 in Trenton was fully closed between South Perimeter Road and RCAF Road, and was expected to remain closed until midnight for the investigation.

More details are expected on Thursday.
