A simple meal or cup of coffee can help fund an important piece of medical equipment at Trenton Memorial Hospital.
On Thursday, October 29, the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation invites the community to take part in McDonald’s Hospital Day to help raise $5,095 in funds for a new vital signs monitor.
On Hospital Day, participating McDonald’s restaurants will donate $1 from every Big Mac or McChicken meal sold and 50 cents from every medium, large or extra-large coffee sold. Volunteers will also be onsite throughout the day to collect donations from customers who wish to contribute.
The event will take place at all three McDonald’s locations in Quinte West:
• Walmart: 470 2nd Dug Hill Road, Trenton
• Monogram Place: 18 Monogram Place, Trenton
• Trenton Town Centre: 266 Dundas Street East, Trenton
Similar McDonald’s Hospital Day fundraisers will also take place in Belleville and Picton on October 29, with proceeds supporting their respective local hospital foundations. In Belleville, funds raised will help purchase a vital signs monitor for the Surgical Program at Belleville General Hospital, while proceeds in Picton will support the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation.
