Construction on North Trent Street in Frankford begins Monday, July 13th

Construction begins today on a central street in Frankford.

Construction on North Trent Street between Adelaide Street and Huffman Avenue in Frankford will begin July 13 and last through to late Fall 2026.

Beginning July 13, North Trent Street from Adelaide Street to Concession Road will be closed to through traffic. Detour routes to King Drive will be available.
Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles.

The closure will allow work to begin on installing a second sanitary forcemain, upsizing the underground sanitary sewer and road reconstruction, including new asphalt and curb.

Project updates and detours will be updated throughout the project as construction progresses north on North Trent Street to Huffman Avenue.
