Quinte West OPP have charged a driver from Tyendinaga.
Police conducted a traffic stop on Queen Street in Trenton on Tuesday at 10 p.m. The driver was transported to the Quinte West OPP station for testing, on the suspicion that they were under the influence of alcohol.
The driver, 40-year-old Joshua Ree, is facing an impaired driving charge. He is also charged with dangerous operations, driving while suspended, obstructing a peace officer, failing or refusing to comply with a demand, and having care or control of a motor vehicle with liquor readily available.
Ree’s license has been suspended for ninety days and vehicle impounded for seven days.
