Belleville man charged following confrontation in east end home

On March 18th (Wednesday) at 4:02pm, Belleville Police responded to a call for service at a residence in the city’s east.

It was reported that a male was inside a female’s residence yelling and causing a disturbance.

Upon investigation, it was learned that the male was bound by conditions prohibiting him from attending the residence or communicating with the female.

As a result, a 40-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with fail to comply with a probation order X4.

He was held for a bail hearing.

No name was released.
