Three Quinte-area athletes are making their mark at the collegiate level in indoor track and field.
Aidan Crawford, who competes at the NCAA Division 1 level for Mount St. Mary’s University placed 4th at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships in Shot Put, one centimeter out of a bronze medal with a throw of 14.73m.
Crawford is an Eastside Secondary School graduate.
Kevin Salaudeen placed 5th in triple jump at the recent OUA Indoor Championships with a leap of 13.98m.
His jump of 14.41m earlier this season earned him a trip to the USports Championships this weekend Winnipeg Manitoba.
Salaudeen competes for the University of Waterloo Warriors in USports/OUA.
Rodney Maracle, representing Central Iowa Community College, has qualified for the NJCAA National Indoor Championships as a member of their 4x800m relay team at Washburn University in Topeka Kansas this weekend.
