Some sad news to the east of us in Quinte.

OPP East Region Communications officials posted on social media that a missing 34-year-old from Napanee, Matthew Deruchie, has been located deceased.

He had been reported missing since Monday near Water Street in Napanee.

No foul play is suspected, police say.

The Lennox and Addington OPP extend their condolences to the family and a thank you to the public for their assistance in the search.
