Awards to Belleville police officers for proactive impaired driving enforcement

Belleville Police officers have been recognized for their work in impaired driving enforcement.

At its meeting on Thursday, the Belleville Police Service Board presented the MADD Quinte Award to five Police Constables for their work in directly supporting the Service’s goal to promote road safety through strategic partnerships with external agencies like MADD Quinte.

The recipients are; PC Jordan Rhodes, PC Aaron Gauthier, PC Mike McCurdy, PC Connor O’Hara, and PC Cory Mooney.

Kaitlyn McConnell, Vice-chair of MADD Quinte, and Belleville Police Service CPIC & Niche RMS Validator, spoke about the devastating impact of drunk driving and presented the awards to the recognized officers, acknowledging their ongoing contributions to promoting road safety through proactive enforcement.
