Two people were injured in a major crash this morning (Thursday) near Stirling.
Officials with the Quinte West Fire Department say a two-vehicle crash happened at County Road 14 (Foxboro – Stirling Rd) and Wallbridge Loyalist Road around 7:15 am.
One of the vehicles rolled onto its roof. The jaws of life were used to remove one person, and both drivers were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The intersection was briefly blocked but vehicles are now getting through the area slowly.
Construction on Wallbridge Loyalist Road just south of the crash site is also having a major impact on traffic flow on Thursday.
Officials are encouraging drivers to be very cautious when going through the area until they completely clear the scene.
