A Belleville restaurant damaged by fire on Monday will remain closed for some time.
Hardik Patel provided the following update after a fire caused $30,000 damage to the kitchen area at BayLeaf on Front Street on Monday.
UPDATE FROM HARDIK PATEL ON FACEBOOK – A little sad update from our BayLeaf family.
Due to an unforeseen fire incident, BayLeaf will be temporarily closed until further notice while we take care of the necessary repairs and restoration.
Most importantly, everyone is safe and no injuries were reported, and for that we are incredibly grateful.
We’re also extremely thankful to our local firefighters, who arrived in less than 10 minutes. We’re so grateful for their quick response and everything they did to help.
Thank you to everyone who has already reached out with kind messages, calls and support. It truly means a lot to our entire team.
We’ll keep you updated as we work through the next steps and look forward to welcoming you back to BayLeaf as soon as we can.
Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support.
