Nine impaired driving arrests in less than a month demonstrate that some motorists continue to ignore the well-known risks and consequences associated with impaired driving. Drivers who choose to get behind the wheel after consuming alcohol or drugs face criminal charges, roadside licence suspensions, vehicle impoundments, and the possibility of causing a collision that results in serious injury or death. No destination is worth that risk.
Anyone who suspects an impaired driver should call 9-1-1 immediately.
