Central Hastings OPP have shared that a 41-year-old man from Foxboro has died, as a result of the collision on Rapids Road in Tweed.
Emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle collision at 11:50 p.m. on Wednesday. The crash took place on Rapids Road between Martin Road and Marrisett Road.
The driver, the lone occupant in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not shared any further details about the incident. The investigation continues. The road is fully back open to traffic as of Thursday at 2:35 p.m.

ROAD CLOSURE: Rapids Road between Martin Road and Marrisett Road in #Tweed is closed due to a collision. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes.
There are no details yet about the crash or possible injuries, or when the road will reopen.
They also issued the following update at 5:15 am.
