Lock It or Lose It reminder from Quinte West OPP

Quinte West OPP have announced that over the last few days, they have received several calls in Trenton about people entering vehicles.

Police continue to remind drivers to “lock it or lose it,” adding that open vehicle windows and doors serve as an invitation for thieves.

Here are a few tips police have shared.

  • Roll up their vehicles’ windows
  • Keep valuables out of sight
  • Lock their doors
  • Pocket their keys
