Loyalist College will celebrate the opening of a major new medical facility at the Belleville Campus on Tuesday.
A special ribbon cutting will be held to mark the official opening of its Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) lab.
Designed to reflect contemporary clinical environments, the new learning space supports students in Loyalist’s Medical Radiation Technician program in developing confidence and gaining experience in diagnostic imaging.
The event marks another milestone in Loyalist’s continued growth in health care education and recognizes the donors and community partners who are helping to enhance learning opportunities for future health care professionals in the region.
Dignitaries on hand for the big moment will include
- Mark Kirkpatrick, President and CEO, Loyalist College
- Stacey Daub, President and CEO, Quinte Health
- Representatives from the John M. & Bernice Parrott Foundation
