The County of Prince Edward is advising the public of a temporary sidewalk closure in Wellington.

Roughly five metres of sidewalk at 283 Wellington Main Street has shown signs of cracking and will be temporarily closed as a measure of public safety.

All entrances remain open and accessible to the public. Pedestrians are advised to use the other sidewalk while this section has been temporarily closed.

Further assessment of the cracking will take place, and an update will be provided in advance of remediation work.
