No one was injured, but an investigation is underway into the cause of a fire in Quinte West Wednesday afternoon.

The blaze reportedly broke out around 1 p.m. at a four-plex on 677 Front St. in Trenton, but was quickly snuffed out in less than half-an-hour by Quinte West firefighters.

OPP, paramedics and Hydro One were on scene as well.

Quinte West fire chief John Whelan stated an investigation has started, but no further information is available at this time.
