By Brock Ormond Apr 8, 2026 | 1:42 PM

A space offering essential services to people facing crisis is coming together as it marches toward an official opening.

The Bridge, part of the HART Hub Hastings Prince Edward is relocating to 1 Alhambra Square, offering vital support to those facing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges.
This new location offers a safe, welcoming environment where individuals can heal and build stability.
The doors of the facility were opened early on Wednesday to give organizations a sneak preview ahead of the official ribbon-cutting on Thursday.
Members of organizations including the Belleville Police Service, the Enrichment Centre for Mental Health and Hastings-Quinte Paramedics, along with media and local politicians got the opportunity to tour the facility.
The Hub will offer dining, washrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a resting area, a spiritual/smudging room, and several spaces for various medical and social services staff and will operate 22 hours a day, 7 days a week for a capacity of about 170 people.
