UPDATE – Investigation concludes into fire at four-plex in Trenton

UPDATE – THURSDAY MORNING AT 10 AM – The investigation has concluded. It was not suspicious. The cause was electrical. Damage was fairly minimal.

ORIGINAL STORY FROM WEDNESDAY – No one was injured, but an investigation is underway into the cause of a fire in Quinte West Wednesday afternoon.

The blaze reportedly broke out around 1 p.m. at a four-plex on 677 Front St. in Trenton but it was quickly put out in less than half-an-hour by Quinte West firefighters.

OPP, paramedics and Hydro One were on scene as well.

Quinte West fire chief John Whelan stated an investigation has started, but no further information is available at this time.
