Stolen items seized, Stone Mills Township man charged

One person has been charged following a warrant execution in Stone Mills Township.

On Tuesday, April 7, the OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit, members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine Unit, executed a search warrant on a residence on Bethel Road in Stone Mills Township.

Following a search of the residence, police located approximately $1500 in stolen ATV parts, a skull face cover and various break in instruments.

Lucas Nehrling, a 46-year-old from Stone Mills Township was charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 – two counts
  • Possession of break in instruments
  • Breach of probation

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on Wednesday.
