Sunday will be an inspiring and celebratory day for women in Quinte.

Several entrepreneurs, makers, service providers and current and business owners are coming together today at the Batawa Community Centre for the Women Inspiring Women event.

The event, founded by local realtor Mary Lou Frost, is meant to inspire and build female community and business leaders.

Admission is $5 and proceeds from the event support the Women Inspiring Women bursary, which is given to a female student entering the Business and Marketing program at Loyalist College.

The event runs from 11 to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
