Two people from Kingston arrested on drug charges in Belleville

Two people from Kingston have been arrested on drug charges following an investigation which began in Belleville.
On March 2nd, 2026 (Monday), officers with the Belleville Police Service Drug & Intelligence Unit, Emergency Response Unit and K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop in Belleville’s east end,
followed by a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant in Kingston’s west end.

Police seized a quantity of fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine and Canadian currency.

As a result of police investigation, the following persons were arrested and charged:

Bobby Grant, 31yearold Kingston man, was charged with the following offences and
held for a bail hearing:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl Sec 5(2) CDSA
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine Sec 5(2) CDSA
Possession of Proceeds under $5000 Sec 354(1)(a) CC

Patrick Grant 63yearold Kingston man, was charged with the following offences and
held for a bail hearing:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl Sec 5(2) CDSA
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine Sec 5(2) CDSA
Possession of Proceeds under $5000 Sec 354(1)(a) CC

Additionally, Patrick Grant was wanted on two outstanding warrants from Peel Region and Kingston.
