Campbellford man charged with sexual assault

The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual in connection with a sexual assault investigation.

The investigation began on February 21, 2026, after the victim reported the incident to police. The incident is believed to have occurred the previous day at a commercial premises on Front Street North in the Municipality of Trent Hills.

As part of this ongoing investigation, conducted with the assistance of the Northumberland OPP Crime Unit, officers took one person into custody on February 27, 2026.

Adam MCMILLAN (43) from Campbellford, has been charged with:

·        Sexual assault

The accused was held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
