Wrapping up my visit to Denmark and Greenland with Minister Anand and the Governor General, advancing Canada’s economic, diplomatic, defence and sovereignty priorities in the Arctic.🇨🇦 🇬🇱 🇩🇰
From the Joint Arctic Command and the CCGS Jean Goodwill in Nuuk( loved meeting some of the crew!) to the historic opening of Canada’s consulate, we are strengthening our partnership with the Kingdom of Denmark, supporting Greenland’s sovereignty, and reinforcing Arctic security.
“When the winter is long, the fire must be kept alive together.” (an Arctic proverb that speaks to shared responsibility, community & resilience)
