Winter Family Fun Day and New Year’s Levee in PEC

Mayor Steve Ferguson and Council invite you and your family to celebrate the traditions of the New Year at the Winter Family Fun Day and New Year’s Levee on Sunday, January 4, 2026.

  • The celebration will take place from 1 pm to 3:30 pm at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street).
  • Fun for the entire family! There will be indoor and outdoor activities (dress warmly), treats and hot beverages, free public skating, children’s activities and more.
  • The event schedule includes:
    • 1 pm – Doors open
    • 1:15 pm – Mayor’s New Year’s Levee Speech
    • 1:30 – 3:30 pm – Festivities and reception with a variety of activities:
      • Decorate a cookie
      • Create a pinecone bird feeder
      • Express your creativity through colouring pages
      • Browse the local history displays from The County Museums and the Prince Edward County Heritage Conservancy
      • Explore a fire truck, take photos, and learn more about fire prevention with Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue
      • Skate for free from 12:30 pm to 2 pm
