Two men face trespassing charges following an incident early Monday morning in Belleville.
On December 15th at 12:50am, Belleville Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a business on North Front Street.
Upon arrival, officers learned that two males who were causing issues had left the area.
A short distance away, police observed two males running from officers.
The two were located as they were hopping a fence clearly marked with a “No Trespassing” sign.
As a result of investigation, the following persons were arrested and charged:
An 18-year-old Deseronto man, was charged with trespassing at night. He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in January.
A 35-year-old Tyendinaga man was charged with:
· Trespassing at night
· Fail to comply with a release order X2
He was held for a bail hearing.
