Outdoor rinks in Batawa now open

The outdoor rinks in Batawa are now open.

Rink 1 – HOCKEY – East side open and in fair condition, west side is closed.

Rink 2 – SKATING ONLY – Open and in fair condition.

Rink 3 – HOCKEY – Open and in fair condition.

Rink 4 – SKATING ONLY – Open and in far condition.

There are some rough areas, so skaters are asked to please skate with caution. The ice resurfacing equipment is not able to go on the ice yet to smooth the rough areas.

Rink hours are 8am to 10pm daily. Public washrooms and a heated rest and lace up area is open during rink hours. Head protection is recommended.

These rinks are free for the community to enjoy. These rinks are run and maintained by volunteers and are used at the skater’s own risk.

Skaters are asked to please be respectful of other skaters and the volunteers.
