Rapidly changing weather conditions are causing some last-minute arrangements for parents in Northumberland today (Friday).

STSCO cancelled all their school buses this morning.

Weather agencies have issued warnings for today and extremely slippery driving conditions are expected throughout the afternoon.

A Special Weather Statement has been issued for the area with a potential flash freeze on the way as it rapidly dips to minus 2 later today.

Winds are also expected to gust to 80 kms/hour at times.

So far, there has been no cancellation notice from Tri-Board Transportation for buses in the Hastings, Prince Edward, Lennox and Addington and Kingston areas.
