Winter recreation programming set to start in new year

It’s beginning to look a lot like winter fun in Belleville.

The Community Services Department has unveiled a snow-packed lineup of programs to keep you active, creative and connected this season. From cozy indoor activities to frosty arena adventures, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this winter!

To preview offerings and plan which programs to register for, please see the online 2026 Winter Recreation Guide. Registration dates and details for the session are below:

Land programs (including skating lessons):

Session runs Jan. 12 – March 30, 2026

  • 8 for City Residents/Taxpayers
  • 11 for Non-City Residents/Taxpayers

Aquatic programs:

Session runs Jan. 5 – April 12, 2026

  • 15 for City Residents/Taxpayers
  • 18 for Non-City Residents/Taxpayers

Ways to register include;

Prior to January, the city is offering many family activities in the Special Holiday Schedule, which runs from Dec. 20, 2025 to Jan. 4, 2026.
