The local Humane Society and a charitable foundation is in generous spirit ahead of the Giving Tuesday campaign.

The Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward is excited to announce a $10,000 matching gift generously provided by the Maurice and Marilyn Rollins Foundation, alongside Jeff Rollins and Becky Broadley, in support of this year’s campaign which runs next Tuesday.

All one-time and new monthly donations made on Giving Tuesday will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $10,000.

This means every gift will have double the impact, helping more stray, neglected, and surrendered animals in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties thrive through care, enrichment, and support.

“As longtime supporters of compassionate animal care, we are proud to partner with Humane Society HPE to inspire generosity within our community. Giving Tuesday is a perfect opportunity to rally support for the animals who rely on these essential services daily,” stated Jeff Rollins of the Maurice and Marilyn Rollins Foundation.

“This incredible matching gift not only amplifies the generosity of our donors but also directly benefits the well-being of animals in our care,” added Melanie Cressman, Executive Director of Humane Society HPE.

Supporters are encouraged to visit www.humanesocietyhpe.ca on December 2 to make their gift count twice for local animals in need.
