Leslie Roseblade will now sit around the horseshoe at Quinte West Council.

The by-law was passed this evening at Quinte West City Hall to appoint Roseblade to fill the seat left vacant in Ward 1 by the late Councillor Sally Freeman.

At last week’s Council meeting, Council agreed to appoint Roseblade to the position as she finished sixth in the 2022 municipal election, making her the next-in-line.

She will now sit on next week’s Council meeting held on Dec 3.

Roseblade says she is thankful for the opportunity and is honoured to fill the seat of the late Sally Freeman.
