Hospice Quinte to hold Open House on October 30th

By Hailey MacDonald Oct 22, 2025 | 2:45 PM

In honour of our 40th anniversary, Hospice Quinte is proud to announce that it will be holding an Open House at the Stan Klemencic Care Centre on October 30th, 2025 from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

If you want to see what happens at the state-of-the-art facility and get a firsthand look at everything Hospice Quinte provides for the community, now is your chance to visit for a tour. Attendees will learn about our programs and services, meet some of our staff and volunteers, and get some light refreshments including delicious homemade soup.

This is your opportunity to discover how we provide comfort, care, and compassion to individuals and families during life’s most difficult times.

In addition to this year being Hospice Quinte’s 40th anniversary, it is also the 4th anniversary of the grand opening of the Stan Klemencic Care Centre.

“Many people see the building as they drive down Old Highway 2, but not everyone takes the time to see it for themselves,” said Hospice Quinte Executive Director Petra Lepage. “Nearly everyone who comes into the Stan Klemencic Care Centre for the first time tells us how impressed they are by how calm and comforting the atmosphere is.”

Whether you’re a longtime supporter or simply curious to learn more, Hospice Quinte is inviting everyone to come in for a tour.

To help us provide the best experience for everyone, we encourage guests to register a preferred time slot. However, walk-ins are always welcome.
