Record-breaking snowfall in Quinte

By Paul Martin Jan 26, 2026 | 4:58 AM

Sunday’s snowfall easily shattered the record for most snowfall for that date in Quinte.

Measurements taken at CFB Trenton show that we received 37.0 cm of snow on Sunday.

That easily broke the previous record of 16.8 cm of snow on January 25th of 2023.

The Quinte Region is still digging out from the snowstorm with many roads and sidewalks in poor condition on Monday.
