Belleville man arrested on harassment charge after attending police station

A Belleville man was charged with harassment in connection with an earlier incident after walking into Belleville Police Headquarters over the weekend.

On Sunday afternoon, December 21st at 12:14pm, Belleville Police spoke with a male who attended the Belleville Police Station advising he wanted to speak to an officer.

Upon police investigation, officers determined that there were grounds for his arrest in relation to an incident that occurred on December 19th.

As a result, a 41-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with:

· Criminal Harassment

· Fail to comply with an Undertaking

He was held for a bail hearing. No name was released.
