A Corbyville man was charged with impaired driving after a single-vehicle collision on Wednesday.
Peterborough County OPP officers received a call regarding a single vehicle that had left the roadway and gone into the ditch on Yankee Line in Selwyn Township around 6 p.m.
Officers spoke with the driver and determined them to be impaired, resulting in charges for Branden Tebworth, 37, including;
• Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
• Failure or refusal to comply with demand
• Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor
• Driving while under suspension
The accused is scheduled to appear on January 20, 2026 in Peterborough Court.
The accused had their driver’s license suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle impounded for seven days.
