Belleville teen charged in violent domestic dispute

A Belleville teen faces multiple charges after a violent domestic incident last weekend in the city.

On December 10th, Belleville Police received a report regarding a domestic dispute that occurred on December 6th. It was reported that a verbal altercation between a male and female escalated, resulting in the male punching the female, pulling her hair, and preventing her from leaving the room.

It was also reported that a second incident took place on December 8th, where the male assaulted the female by pulling her hair again.

As a result of police investigation, a 16-year-old Belleville male was located, arrested and charged with:

· Assault X2

· Forcible confinement

He was held for a bail hearing.

No name was released.
