Quinte West OPP will be joining volunteers from the local food bank this weekend to help make a difference in the community.

A food drive event goes on Saturday, December 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Metro Trenton grocery store on 53 Quinte Street in Trenton.

Members of the Quinte West OPP Detachment and OPP Auxiliary Unit will be present to accept donations of cash and non-perishable food items to cram an OPP cruiser with.

All donations will be given to local foodbanks.
