Planning is already underway to ring in the New Year in Belleville.
Mayor Neil Ellis and Belleville City Council invite residents to join them to ring in the new year at the annual New Year’s Levee on Thursday, Jan. 1.
This year’s event will begin at 11 a.m. in the gymnasium at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre with refreshments provided.
Mayor, Council, and City of Belleville staff will deliver greetings to those present before Mayor Ellis provides a special recap of 2025 and an outlook for 2026.
Returning this year is the free skate at the Mackay Arena from 12 to 1:30 p.m.
Please note that the maximum capacity on the ice is 160 skaters at any time.
Don’t forget your helmet! Donations to Gleaners Foodbank will also be accepted.
