Athlete of the Week: Teegan Grosse

By Katie Sherratt Nov 28, 2025 | 10:34 AM

Congratulations to Teegan Grosse, the Cool 100 and Hits 95.5 Athlete of the Week!

Sport: Hockey & Racing

Teegan Grosse, 12, has become known around the rink for the way he carries himself both on and off the ice. Anyone who’s watched him play over the past couple of seasons has seen the same thing: this kid shows real sportsmanship, no matter the situation.

Teegan is competitive and dedicated, but what really makes him stand out is his respect for others and the positive attitude he brings to every game. He’s the first to skate over to the opposing team to congratulate them—whether it’s on a win, a great goal, or a big save. He’s also often seen shaking hands with coaches on both sides and thanking his own coaches after practices and games.

Teegan has become a genuine role model for his teammates, showing what it looks like to play hard while still leading with integrity. He deserves a huge shoutout for the young gentleman he’s becoming.

Nominate your athlete at www.cool100.ca or www.hits955.ca. Tell us their story and why they deserve the spotlight. We’ll feature them on air on Cool 100 and Hits 955, on our socials, and on InQuinte.ca! Plus the athlete of the week will win vouchers to enjoy 2 free extra value meals from participating McDonald’s restaurants in Trenton, Brighton, and Campbellford!
