Loyalist basketball well represented as Athletes of the Week

Loyalist College has named its most recent Athletes of the Week and both are representing the Lancers basketball program.

 

Jalen Carter Julien

Jalen posted back-to-back standout performances with 18 points, 11 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists, and 2 blocks Friday night against the La Cite Coyotes, followed by 21 points and 8 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block against the Algonquin Wolves. Jalen’s performance helped push his team to two big wins: 129-86 over La Cite & 101-72 over Algonquin.

Kayley Lemaire

Kayley Lemaire was a force to be reckoned with in a huge victory for her team against the Algonquin Wolves on Saturday. Lemaire dominated on both ends with 16 points, 13 rebounds, and 2 steals to help push her team to a 71-51 win over the Wolves, who were previously ranked 3rd in the province.
