School buses were cancelled on Monday in the Northumberland, Napanee and Kingston areas.

Due to current road conditions, especially on many secondary streets & roads, transportation is cancelled in Tri-Board’s Lennox & Addington, Frontenac, and Kingston areas.

Due to storm aftermath and reported slippery/icy road conditions all school bus transportation is also cancelled today for Northumberland, Clarington, Peterborough City and County.

They are still running in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, though there may be significant delays in some cases.

Dozens of individual routes have also been cancelled in our area, especially in the Belleville, and Stirling, Madoc and Tweed areas this morning.

Schools in the Tri-board area will remain open however any students driven to school by parents/guardians will need to be picked up at the end of the day.

A bus is cancelled in a weather zone if it serves a school or has a bus stop located in the weather zone. Buses may be cancelled in other zones based on local conditions.
